Last weekend was IMHO a Great race weekend. because of racing on two of the greatest tracks in the US, Mid-Ohio and Road America. It was great to see the Cup race on Road America and we got to see some good racing there. However I still think the Xfinity race was a bit better and a bit more exciting. And also Mid-Ohio was good from a Swedish stand point with a podium finish for Marcus Ericsson along with good racing. Linus Lundqvist took home two fourth place finishes last weekend and are still in the hunt for the Indy Lights Championship. Last weekend was great but I think the weekend coming up this this weekend can be even better! So take a look at the Schedule below you’ll see what I mean. Full Results from the weekend, here. The SRX series race was quite good on the low banked Lucas Oil Raceway, results. SRX is a fun to follow, and done good so far this year.
The schedule for Knoxville and Atlanta, July 2021. NASCAR Cup and Xfinity-series will be racing on Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend. The line-ups will be set by NASCAR -metrics. The Trucks will race on the dirt-track at Knoxville Raceway. This is a new track for the series so NASCAR will hold practice and qualifying for the Trucks. IndyCar and Indy Lights are having a Summer break and will be back in the beginning of August. The new SRX series takes on the high banks of the Worlds fastest quarter-mile, Slinger Speedway. Berra, I am so glad you posted the schedule. I did not realize they were showing practice today, Thursday, so was able to set my dvr. Now, I will just have to find time to watch it. Last weekends recordings are still waiting, except for SRX which I watched 2 nights ago.
Thanks Viv! This weekend has every chance of being Really great with the Trucks at Knoxville! I’m also excited to see the SRX car on Slinger Speedway.
