Weekend Schedule Atlanta and Mid-Ohio

Below a Tv schedule for the weekends NASCAR racing at Atlanta and Mid-Ohio, July 2022. Cup and Xfinity series are racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Truck series and ARCA will take on Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course near Lexington for the first time this weekend and NASCAR has given the Truck teams an extended practice, 50 a minutes session. And as this is a “stand alone” race for the Trucks modified pitstops are expected instead of the normal “live” stopps.

With Indy Car and Indy Lights having the weekend of, and will return in a couple of weeks. When Indy Car returns they goes north of the boarder to Toronto, while oval racing is next for Indy Lights at Iowa Speedway.

The Third  SRX Summer series race at Stafford is in the books, next up is Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway as usual at 8: PM Saturday on CBS. The Fairgrounds Speedway is currently an 18 degree banked paved oval. The track is 0.596 mi (0.959 km) long. Inside the larger oval is a 14 mi (0.40 km) paved oval. The track is the second-oldest continually operating track in the US, the track first featured “horseless carriages” and motorcycles on June 11, 1904, on a 1+18 mi (1.8 km) dirt oval. Races were canceled after a motorcycle ran into the back of a car that was lining up.

  1. Per Bob Pockrass Twitter; Green flag moved 24 minutes earlier to 3:03 (21:03 Sweden) with the threat of rain later in the afternoon. Radar is clear but storms possibly will build. It is sunny, hot and muggy at the moment.
