Weekend Schedule for Kansas Speedway

NASCAR will this weekend travel to Kansas for two races at Kansas Speedway. You will see stock cars from both Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series doing battle at the track. Xfinity Series will have the weekend off. Kansas Speedway opened for racing in 2001. The track is tri-oval shaped and is 2.4 km (1.5 mile) long. Surface is asphalt with four turns, banking is at frontstretch 9-11°, backstretch 5° and in turns 17-20°. Lap record is held by IndyCar Series driver Scott Dixon with 24.761 seconds (IndyCar Series). The capacity is currently 74000 seats.
