A TV Schedule for Auto Club Speedway, February 2022. This is the last time for NASCAR Cup and Xfinity series races on the 2-mile Oval at Fontana. Next time out there, whenever that will be, will be on what is said to be a half-miler. From what I’ve seen so far, no timeline has been announced, but no racetrack will be ready for next year and speculation are on where it will take place. To me it feels kind of sad to see the big 2-miler go, I’ve always liked the racing at Fontana, no matter what series, and CART/Indy races there, to me, was sometimes real nail-biters.
Indy Car starts the season next weekend at St. Petersburg, NHRA dragracing will be back in two weeks. Some other events of interest this weekend: Supercross from Arlington on Peacock 8:00 PM Saturday.
