NASCAR: Weekend Schedule for Richmond International Raceway

NASCAR will this weekend travel to Henrico County, Virginia, for two races at Richmond International Raceway. NASCAR Xfinity Series and Sprint Cup Series will both race this weekend while the Truck Series is off. Richmond International Raceway opened for racing in 1946. The track is D-shaped and is 1,2 km (0.75 mile) long. Surface is asphalt with four turns. Banking in turns are 14 degrees and straightaways 2 degrees . Track record is held by Jeff Gordon with 130.599 mph (20.674 sec.) in September 6, 2013. The stands currently capacity are 71 000 seats.
