Cuppers were at their Easter break last weekend, but we did get some good racing in Trucks and OReilly series last weekend at Rockingham! Bristol this weekend so on to Bristol and “Last Great Colosseum”

The CW earned 1,165,000 total viewers for last weekend’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Series event at Rockingham Speedway. It’s an 11% increase compared to last year’s Rockingham race on Easter weekend, per Nielsen panel + big data.
Viewership increased 4% compared to the same weekend race last year held at Darlington Raceway. The audience peaked at 1,497,000 total viewers in the waning laps to see William Sawalich score his first series victory.
CW got IMHO decent coverage and the racing in OReally is mostly better and more exciting than Cup!
nascar hasnt skewered with the cars much while still adding all the new safety features to them and i hope they keep them away from any new design

Sometimes I only watch bits of the O’Reilly series, especially when the cup drivers and pit crews are invading…trucks about the same idea. I am not sure if they do it for the practice, the trophy or the money. I just always see it as taking away from each series when the regulars need those things.
Do my remarks make sense?
nascar and the lower series race sponsors enjoy the cup invaders . they say it brings more fans to those races .
i still have mixed feelings with the invaders but at least now that wins dont mean an instant trip to championship races , its not as bad as it was
Wonder how much the ticket pricing has to do with it. Save money and buy a 2 or 3 day pass, so they would get more fans there. Always have a gimmick or two, lol
